Opportunities

Behind every successful professor are many talented students and postdocs. We are actively looking for 2-3 highly motivated graduate students. We also have a history of training excellent undergraduate researchers with majors in chemistry, biological science, and computer science. We have four undergraduate-coauthored publications in the last few years. Two postdoctoral positions are currently available. A large collection of projects are available, including the development and application of solid-state NMR and DNP methods to elucidate the structure and dynamics of fungi, plant biomass, and membrane proteins. In particular we are looking for candidates with background in solution or solid-state NMR. If you have new expertise that is currently unavailable in my group, such as quadrupolar nuclei, it will be a bonus. Please directly contact Dr. Wang (wangtuo1@msu.edu) if you have interest.
